This document specifies a test method for screening the resistance of polymeric geosynthetic barriers to stress cracking. The test is applicable to polypropylene and polyethylene based products and to all other polymeric geosynthetic barriers which have a partially crystalline structure.
NOTE The described method is suitable for conformance testing of smooth surfaced (non-textured) geosynthetic barriers. However, the resistance to stress cracking of the resin used in the manufacture of structured surface materials can be evaluated by carrying out the test on a plaque formed from the relevant resin (see 5.5) or, where structuring is carried out as a separate processing step, on a preformed smooth surface geosynthetic barrier, the test can be performed on the intermediate smooth material.
The data are suitable for screening and determination of conformity but not for deriving performance data such as lifetime, unless supported by further evidence.
This document specifies a test method for the measurement of the strain hardening modulus which is used as a measure for the resistance to slow crack growth of polyethylene. The strain hardening modulus is obtained from true stress versus draw ratio curves on HDPE geosynthetic barrier samples.
This document specifies how measurement is performed and how the strain hardening modulus is determined. Details of the required equipment, precision and sample preparations are given.
This test method is suitable for all HDPE types of GBR-P.
This part of IEC 62433 specifies a flow for deriving a macro-model to allow the simulation of the conducted immunity levels of an integrated circuit (IC). This model is commonly called integrated circuit immunity model - conducted immunity, ICIM-CI. It is intended to be used for predicting the levels of immunity to conducted radio frequency (RF) disturbances applied on IC pins.
In order to evaluate the immunity threshold of an electronic device, this macro-model will be inserted into an electrical circuit simulation tool.
This macro-model can be used to model both analogue and digital ICs (input/output, digital core and supply). This macro-model does not take into account the non-linear effects of the IC.
The added value of ICIM-CI is that it could also be used for immunity prediction at board and system level through simulations.
This part of IEC 62433 has two main subparts:
– the electrical description of ICIM-CI macro-model elements;
– the representation of ICIM-CI macro-model elements in XML-based CIML schema, according to encoding scheme defined in IEC 62433-1, to enable a more generic, interoperable and simulation-orientated format for immunity analysis.

This part of IEC 61249 gives requirements for properties of high performance non-halogenated resin, modified or unmodified, woven E-glass laminate sheet 0,05 mm up to 3,2 mm, of defined flammability (vertical burning test), copper-clad for high speed application. The glass transition temperature is defined to be 170 °C minimum. The dissipation factor is less than 0,0050 at 10 GHz. Some property requirements may have several classes of performance. The class desired should be specified in the purchase order, otherwise the default class of material will be supplied.
Its flame resistance is defined in terms of the flammability requirements of 7.3.
